You rightly pointed out that credentials are vanishing and that judgement is what's needed to survive in this new era. But judgement won't come from outsourced thinking. Judgment comes from making mistakes and patterns matching of years of experience. While washing machine disrupted the housemaid, it's a machine that comes with instruction manual and a fixed set of operations. AI and advanced tools doesn't come with any of these. It takes an expert to operate and most importantly know when not to operate. It needs expert real world pattern matching to pinpoint bad vs good output. Knowledge work which requires low judgement is at risk whereas knowledge work which requires judgement and decision making will thrive more. What do you think?

Also AI isn’t just raising the bar for judgement. It’s exposing how little of most jobs actually required it.
